Revolution! Conference highlighted in Radar Talk Intimate Podcast

Experimental Action's co-hosted conference, "Revolution! Scholars and Artists Rethinking Political Action," was recently featured on Radar Talk Intimate's podcast. Parish Conkling, philosophy professor and program director at Houston Community College, and Joy Harris, Experimental Action, discussed the goals and structure of the conference.

"We were so excited to talk with Francois Pointeau (Radar Talk Intimate's host)," said Harris. "Francois is highlighting artists and thinkers from around Texas. His program is interdisciplinary by nature and that aligns with what we are doing, as well."

Pointeau will be moderating a panel for Revolution! on April 10th at A 2nd Cup in Houston. The panel focuses on creative interventions tacking the issue of human trafficking. Jennifer Decker, Artistic Director of Mildred's Umbrella Theater Company, and Jim Ball, Assistant Professor at Texas A&M University and member of the Performance Studies program, will be joining Pointeau.

Revolution! conference will take place in Houston from April 9 - 11, 2020, and the roster includes artists and thinkers from around the world. Participants will tackle theory and practice in a collaborative environment. You can find out more about this project and how you can participate by visiting the conference website.
